ELDANOR is a web design & developer studio founded by Tamas Gal. We create easy to use, accessible, handcrafted interfaces balanced with a standards-based methodology. We develop websites for internet and web applications for intranets also. We are very close to the heart of Europe in Budapest, Hungary.
We belive that nothing is impossible.
The company
ELDANOR was borned when one of the biggest European media company called Sanoma bought the PDAMania.hu website. PDAMania was estabilished in 2001 to help people using mobile devices especially PDAs, GPSs, PNAs and smartphones. The website was a totaly self designed and self developed by Tamas continuously 5 years. That gives the experiences – besides other related duties – to make a web design & developer company.
Now we design and build clean, usable, and attractive interfaces and complete websites that account for speed, file size, readability and accessibility — using web standards. Learn more about our services and completed projects, or get in touch to talk about how we can work with you.

The founder
Tamas has 13 years of banking experience obtained working for domestic commercial banks of foreign interest (ING Bank, Raiffeisen Bank, MKB Bank) besides his other life on the internet.
Major areas of specialty are the banking operational functions, where he dealt with business planning and modelling and the development of service strategies in addition worked on IT problems, national clearing systems, SWIFT and banking processes.
As a middle manager act like a bridge between business and IT. Started several banking service channels and developed them further. Took part in several national banking tasks as great authority within the confines of Hungarian Association of Banks / Payment Systems Forum.
He established the website called PDAMania.hu in 2001 as a hobby aside from his daily banking tasks. He made it a market-leader website with the creation of several thematic subsites and the development of a webshop. The editorial staff employed 6 telecommuting people and the webshop has a 26-people-strong supplier contracted by the end of 2006. PDAMania was aquired by Sanoma Budapest Inc. on January 2007.
A special emphasis of his work is given to the utilization perspectives of new “edge” technologies in banking. He was amongst the first to be concerned with the fields of use for mobile phones and PDAs, web sales of banking services and usability issues of transactional websites (internet banking systems, webshops, etc).
